daredevil, spider-man, armor?

spider-man! daredevil! armor?

i did a weapon x piece a short while ago and it made me wonder why a bunch of 90's characters had shoulder pads...

and for that matter armor! ... from what i remember captain america and even batman had armor too.. weird!
