Hey, I just want to say thanks again for permission to use this on the blog. We ran it today, and it's too early to tell how it's going to shake out, but it has the potential to be one of the most popular things we've done so far. It's gotten lots of looks. Batman is consistently our most popular topic. Here's the link if you'd like to see it. sourcererblog.wordpress.com/20…
So how do you feel about this image being used to illustrate the fourth in a series of Batman blog posts and you being credited with a "used with permission" credit? The art works with the content, and I notice this is being passed around all over Facebook. I went to the trouble of trace it all the way here, hoping for Creative Commons/Non-Commercial, but I respect your copyright symbol. Let me know. We don't post the next Batman piece until next week. I set up an account just to ask this question, because I do things like that for my regular contributors. I'll just bookmark this thread and check back.
Hey thanks! We always credit as best we can. We have a policy. We try & get our art from here because there's so much good non-commercial/attribution stuff just laying around. (And now I have this account to play with!!). Love the image (obviously).
Thank you! I never use an image unless another artist wants me too, because it pisses me off when people don't ask permission, and I know they'll be pissed at me if I don't. If I don't ask or if they don't respond I just give the artist some credit because they deserve it for making cool images such as this. Thanks again!
